Creation of digital infrastructure challenger brand
Following a referral from Digital Bridge, the creative team were commissioned to develop the brand for nexfibre – a joint venture between Liberty Global, InfraVia, and Telefónica, working with Virgin Media O2 to deliver the UK’s only national-scale fibre network competing with BT Openreach.
Through in-depth research, stakeholder interviews, and storytelling workshops, the studio created a clear brand narrative: ‘nexfibre exists to empower people and businesses with quality connections for a thriving society – open, fast, simple’. This messaging informed the creation of the brand identity, including a logotype inspired by a fibre optic cable cross-section, symbolising the collaboration between the three joint venture partners. A full visual identity, tone of voice, and brand architecture were delivered, culminating in a brand book and a high-impact website launched to UK national and trade media. The team continue to support nexfibre with internal brand assets and digital communications as the company grows.
