Year-on-year global campaign activation in support of World Diabetes Day

Over a five-year partnership, the team worked closely with the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) to evolve the World Diabetes Day (WDD) campaign into a globally impactful initiative.

Initially focused on raising awareness, the campaign’s strategy was refined annually to align with that year’s health theme, with the development of consistent messaging, dynamic visuals, and adaptive content based on audience feedback and healthcare trends. Early challenges included creating messages that resonated across diverse global demographics while staying true to IDF’s mission. Over time, we introduced real-life stories of people living with diabetes, adding emotional depth and personal relevance to the campaign. This data-led, evolving approach significantly boosted WDD’s digital presence and engagement worldwide.

What began as a general awareness effort is now a powerful, targeted communications initiative which has helped the IDF build long-term global impact, deepening connections and positioning the organisation as a leading voice in diabetes advocacy and awareness.
